Measurement of weight variation in specimens according to temperature
This method is used to measure the weight variation in specimens by heating or cooling them, or maintaining them under isothermal conditions. Equipped with a high resolution ultra-micro balance, it is able to implement measurements in units of 0.1μg. With a DSC sensor which can measure thermal flow, the heat quantity can be measured concurrently with the weight measurement.

Rheometer / DMA
Equipment for evaluating the viscoelastic properties of specimens from liquid to solid substances
Viscoelastic properties are targets of the academic discipline of deformation and fluidity called “rheology.” The viscoelasticity measurement device (rheometer) applies a slight external deformation to the sample and evaluates its response. Curing of a thermal curing resin and UV light curing are measured in numerical terms to evaluate adhesive properties including tack and peeling, and coating properties including sag and leveling can be evaluated.

Measurement of specimen expansion according to temperature
This equipment measures the deformations due to temperature by applying a non-vibrating load to the specimen. Data concerning thermal expansion, thermal shrinkage, softening points, etc., about the specimen can be obtained. Principally, this equipment can measure the expansion rate, glass transition temperature, extension and shrinkage.

Measuring reaction heat by light irradiation
This spot-type irradiator measures the variation in the heat quantity of test pieces according to the light response (polymerization) by irradiating ultraviolet light or visible light. This device can examine the conditions required for response startup and complete curing by analyzing the relations between the irradiation intensity, the irradiation time and the heat quantity.
